The Club Field Day/Picnic is on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the
QTH of Doug and Donna Schmitt, N1584 Welsh Road, Watertown, WI 53098.
The event will start at 1:00 PM with erection of antennas and setup of the Club
Kenwood TS-570D HF transceiver. Licensed hams will have an opportunity to make
some HF contacts and try contesting.
If you do not want to play radio you will have a chance to socialize. Members, spouses,
significant others and children are welcome.
We plan to have a meal about 5:00 PM. To help defray the costs for brats, potato salad, beans, soft drinks,
beer, liquor, ice and supplies the Club is again asking for a $5.00 contribution from each person attending.
It is also suggested that you bring a dish or snack to pass.
